Main Structural Features
The XGN-40.5 Box-type Fixed AC Metal-clad Switchgear adopts a robust fixed structure. The basic frame is fabricated by welding bent section steel and steel plates, ensuring the cabinet enclosure meets the IP2X protection class.
This switchgear is mainly assembled from a front cabinet and a rear cabinet. Air insulation is primarily used between live parts inside the cabinet. The insulation distance between all live parts, and between live parts and ground, is strictly maintained at not less than 300 mm.
Cabinet Configurations
Front Cabinet: Houses the main busbar & busbar disconnector compartment, circuit breaker compartment, and relay compartment. Relays are installed in the middle of the front face, with 15 sections of auxiliary busbar terminals. An M12 grounding bolt is provided at the bottom for auxiliary circuit grounding.
Rear Cabinet: Connected via bolts, it can be equipped with bypass busbars, disconnectors, voltage transformers, or lightning arresters. The rear door features a double-door structure with a safety interlock linked to the live-line indicator.
